Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Directorate Support and RTT Validation Clerk to aid RTT performance and data integrity. The role involves data collection on clinical pathways, running quality checks, and advising on RTT rules to ensure accurate waiting time measures.

The post supports IMPReS Integrated Musculoskeletal Pain and Rheumatology, plus Haematology services, with daily contact across directorates. DBS checks apply; training is provided on start.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Admin and/or Customer Services or equivalent level of working experience.
• GCSE English Language and Maths (C or above) or equivalent literacy/numeracy level.
• ECDL or equivalent Microsoft applications.
• NHS RTT E-Learning modules.

Responsibilities

• Support the Performance Manager and Directorate Manager with data validation and RTT data collection.
• Provide advice on RTT rules and assist in monitoring waiting times.
• Assist the department's longest waiting patients and related operational actions.
• Communicate across clinical and admin staff to ensure accurate RTT measures.
