Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well‑motivated Physiotherapist to join our four‑monthly junior rotational programme. This post will be based at Epsom, St Helier and the Royal Marsden Hospital.

Rotations

The four monthly rotations include:

  • Respiratory
  • Medical
  • Surgery
  • ITU
  • COTE
  • AMU
  • Frailty
  • Sutton Re‑ablement unit
  • Medical (including Renal and Amputees)
  • Orthopaedics
  • Stroke
  • Oncology at RMH

All post holders will be supported by a Band 6 or 7 team leader.

Clinical development and supervision will be a priority.

Car owner/driver is desired.

Positions

We are recruiting for two full‑time positions – a Permanent and a Fixed Term.

Candidate Expectations

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills and be committed to developing clinical skills.

You will be proactive, use your initiative and have sound organisational abilities to support prioritising and managing your caseload.

You will be part of a weekend and weekday on‑call rota. On certain rotations, you are expected to work across a seven‑day rota and extended day working.
