Job summary

Zero2Five Early Years Recruitment is seeking a Room Leader in Elstree/Borehamwood to lead a dedicated room with a focus on high standards of care and education.

You will plan engaging activities in line with the EYFS, mentor and support the team, and build strong relationships with parents while safeguarding children’s wellbeing. Salary over £30,000 and opportunities to progress within a welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Qualification or above and nursery leadership experience.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills required.
• Passion for early years education and helping children thrive.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Plan engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Support, motivate and guide your team to deliver outstanding practice.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
• Monitor children's progress and ensure their individual needs are met.
