Zero2Five is recruiting a passionate Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of a nursery room in Elstree/Borehamwood. A £30,000+ salary is negotiable based on experience, with opportunities to develop leadership and advance within a friendly team.

The role focuses on high-quality care, EYFS-aligned learning activities, safeguarding, and building strong relationships with families while supporting staff performance and professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Level 3 Early Years or higher.
• Experience in a nursery, with leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
• Genuine passion for early years education.

Aufgaben

• Lead the day-to-day running of the room with high standards of care and education.
• Plan engaging activities linked to EYFS to support learning and development.

The role:

• Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high standards of care and education
• Plan engaging activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
• Support, motivate and guide your team to deliver outstanding practice
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety
• Monitor children’s progress and ensure their individual needs are met

What we’re looking for:

• A recognised Level 3 Early Years Qualification or above
• Experience in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• A genuine passion for early years education and helping children thrive
