Job summary

Zero2Five is seeking an experienced Room Leader to head the EYFS room in Elstree/Borehamwood. The role involves leading daily operations, designing activities in line with EYFS, and guiding the team to deliver outstanding care and education. Salary negotiable, starting from £30,000+ depending on experience.

You will build strong relationships with families, uphold safeguarding standards, and support children’s developmental progress within a friendly nursery environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience in a nursery, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Plan engaging activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Support, motivate and guide your team to deliver outstanding practice.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
• Monitor children’s progress and ensure their individual needs are met.
