Job summary

Zero2Five Early Years Recruitment seeks a passionate Room Leader in Elstree/Borehamwood to oversee daily room operations and ensure high standards of care and education.

You will plan activities in line with the EYFS, support and develop your team, build strong relationships with parents, and uphold safeguarding and health and safety standards. Salary is over £30,000 per annum, negotiable by experience.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 Early Years Qualification or above.
• Experience in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Plan engaging activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Support, motivate and guide your team to deliver outstanding practice.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
• Monitor children’s progress and ensure their individual needs are met.

The role:
