Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley is looking for a Roofer to join our team in the East Midlands. The role is full-time and permanent, working 40 hours per week between 8am and 6pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for roof repairs, gutter maintenance, and related tasks within social housing settings.

Salary is £31,270 - £32,916 per annum, with a DBS check and standard employment terms. If you have NVQ2 or equivalent trade experience and a background in housing maintenance, apply now.

• Replace slipped or missing roof tiles, fix gutters and downpipes.

The role

Title: Roofer

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am – 6pm.

Requirements

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience
• Duties to include things such as (but not limited to) replacing slipped or missing roof tiles, clearing and repairing blocked or leaking gutters and downpipes, fixing flashing around chimney stacks, and patching leaks on flat roofs over extensions or balconies

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van and fuel card for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
