Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd. is seeking an experienced Roofer to join a Peterborough-based team for responsive maintenance and repair work on domestic properties. You will benefit from a company van, fuel card and all essential tools from day one.

The role is full-time, with 25 days annual leave plus holidays and a pay review every year. DBS check will be completed prior to starting, and a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years' trade experience, ideally within a repairs or maintenance environment.
• NVQ in Roofing Occupations (or equivalent).
• Experience working on pitched and flat roofs.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance on flat, tiled, and slated roofs.
• Repair and renew guttering; work on scaffolds and carry out scaffold inspections.
• Inspecting roof defects to determine the most effective repair methods.
• Undertaking minor carpentry work associated with roofing tasks.
