Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley in the East Midlands is seeking a Roofer to join our housing maintenance team. You will replace tiles, clear and repair gutters, fix flashing around chimneys, and patch leaks on flat roofs across our properties.

Applicants should have previous experience in social housing or local authority settings and hold an NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience. A full UK driving licence is required for vehicle assignment.

40 hours per week between 8am - 6pm.

Requirements

Experience

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience
• Duties to include things such as (but not limited to) replacing slipped or missing roof tiles, clearing and repairing blocked or leaking gutters and downpipes, fixing flashing around chimney stacks, and patching leaks on flat roofs over extensions or balconies

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van and fuel card for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
