Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a dedicated Roofer to join our Response team covering Nottingham and Bradford. You will repair and renew roofs, working on leaks, felt, guttering, lead work and torch-on felt repairs, with some brickwork desirable.

We offer a 39-hour week with a base salary of £35,530 and on-target earnings up to £39,586 with bonus, overtime and callout. A company van and fuel card, uniform and PPE are provided along with pension contributions and life insurance.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or equivalent qualification.
• PASMA and IPAF certifications are desirable.
• Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
• Professionally and considerately work in social housing environments.
• Full UK driving licence with use of company van.

Aufgaben

• Assist the team with general maintenance repairs across carpentry and plumbing.

The Roofer Role

• You will be responsible for undertaking repair/renewal roofing works, including repairs and maintenance covering roof leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work & torch on felt repairs. Ability to undertake some brickwork related repairs is desirable
• You will also be required to assist the team with general maintenance repairs across a range of trades such as Carpentry & Plumbing
• Taking pride in building relationships, you will communicate effectively with the scheduling team, tenants and your line managers
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

What will you bring as a Roofer?

• Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Roofing
• Current PASMA and IPAF certification is desirable
• Ability to work to targets in a fast paced and reactive environment
• Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenants’ homes within social housing settings
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with the use of a company van.
