Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a skilled Roofer to join our Response team on a brand new long-term contract covering the Birmingham area. You will specialise in maintenance and repair roofing works to our customers' properties, building relationships with tenants and scheduling teams.

The role offers a competitive basic salary (£35,530 for a 39-hour week) with on-target earnings up to £39,586 including bonus, overtime and callout, plus a company van, fuel card, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing is required.
• General maintenance knowledge in other trades is advantageous.
• Ability to work professionally in environments including vulnerable tenants' homes.

Responsibilities

• Undertake repair/renewal roofing works, including leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, leadwork and torch-on felt repairs.
• Communicate effectively with scheduling team, tenants and line managers; build relationships.
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
