Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an experienced Roofer to perform responsive maintenance and repair work across domestic properties in the Market Harborough area. The role includes driving a company van and using a fuel card from day one, with a focus on high-quality workmanship.

You will join a well-established contractor known for its strong housing sector reputation and commitment to staff development. The position offers a full-time, on-site role with benefits and annual pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years' trade experience in roofing or maintenance.
• NVQ in Roofing Occupations (or equivalent).
• Experience on pitched and flat roofs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance on flat, tiled, and slated roofs.
• Repair and renew guttering; work on scaffolds; conduct scaffold inspections.
• Inspect roof defects to determine the most effective repair method.
• Undertake minor carpentry work associated with roofing tasks.

Join a well established social housing contractor and receive a company van, fuel card, and all essential tools from day one. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for carrying out responsive maintenance and repair work within domestic properties across the Market Harborough area.

• Carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance on flat, tiled, and slated roofs

I’d love to speak to Roofer who has:

• Over 3 years' trade experience, ideally within a repairs or maintenance environment
• NVQ in Roofing Occupations (or equivalent)
• Experience working on both pitched and flat roofs
• A full, valid UK driving licence
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting
