Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Roofer to perform responsive maintenance and repair across domestic properties in Market Harborough. You will join a well-established housing contractor that provides a company van, fuel card, and essential tools from day one.

The role requires over 3 years of roofing trade experience, an NVQ in Roofing Occupations, and a full UK driving licence, with a DBS check prior to starting. A competitive benefits package and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years’ trade experience, ideally within a repairs or maintenance environment.
• NVQ in Roofing Occupations (or equivalent).
• Experience working on pitched and flat roofs.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance on flat, tiled, and slated roofs.
• Repair and renew guttering, work on scaffolds and carry out scaffold inspections.
• Inspecting roof defects to determine the most effective repair methods.
• Undertaking minor carpentry work associated with roofing tasks.

I’d love to speak to Roofer who has:

• Experience working on both pitched and flat roofs
• A full, valid UK driving licence
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting
