Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a skilled Roofer to join our Response team covering Nottingham and Bradford. You will specialise in responsive maintenance roofing works on our customers' properties.

We offer a competitive basic salary of £35,530 for a 39 hour working week, with on target earnings up to £39,586 including bonus, overtime and callout. Benefits include a company van, fuel card, uniform and PPE, plus a PDA to manage your work efficiently.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing is required.
• PASMA and IPAF certification are desirable.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a company van is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake repair/renewal roofing works including leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work and torch on felt repairs.
• Assist team with general maintenance repairs across trades such as Carpentry & Plumbing.
• Maintain communication with scheduling team, tenants and line managers; work safely and comply with Health & Safety requirements.

The Roofer role:

• You will be responsible for undertakingrepair/renewal roofing works, including repairs and maintenance covering roof leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work & torch on felt repairs.Ability to undertake some brickwork related repairs is desirable
• You will also be required to assist the team with general maintenance repairs across a range of trades such as Carpentry & Plumbing
• Taking pride in building relationships, you will communicate effectively with the scheduling team, tenants and your line managers
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safetyrequirements.

What will you bring as a Roofer?

• Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Roofing
• Current PASMA and IPAF certification is desirable
• Ability to work to targets in a fast paced and reactive environment
• Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenants’ homes within social housing settings
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with the use of a company van.
