Job summary

Ian Williams is looking for a skilled Roofer to join the Response team covering the Peterborough area. You will specialise in responsive maintenance roof works for customers' properties and work closely with the scheduling team and managers.

We offer a 39-hour week with a competitive £35,530 base salary, on target earnings up to £39,586 with bonus, overtime and callouts, plus a company van, fuel card, uniform, PPE, PDA, holidays, pension contributions and life insurance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing (required).
• PASMA and IPAF certification is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake repair/renewal roofing works and maintenance including leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work, and torch-on felt repairs.
• Communicate effectively with scheduling team, tenants and line managers.
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

The Roofer role:

• You will be responsible for undertakingrepair/renewal roofing works, including repairs and maintenance covering roof leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work & torch on felt repairs.Ability to undertake some brickwork related repairs is desirable
• Taking pride in building relationships, you will communicate effectively with the scheduling team, tenants and your line managers
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safetyrequirements.

What will you bring as a Roofer?

• Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Roofing
• Current PASMA and IPAF certification is desirable
• Ability to work to targets in a fast paced and reactive environment
• Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenants' homes within social housing settings
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with the use of a company van.
