Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a skilled Roofer to join our Response business covering the East Midlands. You will specialise in responsive maintenance roof works across customers' properties, delivering quality repairs and renewals.

We offer a competitive base salary (£35,530 for a 39-hour week) with on-target earnings up to £39,586 with bonus, overtime and callout. A company van and fuel card are provided, along with uniform, PPE, and a PDA to manage work efficiently.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing is required.
• Some general maintenance knowledge in other trades would be advantageous.
• Full UK Driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake repair/renewal roofing works including repairs to leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work and torch-on felt repairs; brickwork related repairs are desirable.
• Communicate effectively with scheduling team, tenants and line managers.
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

The Roofer Role

• You will be responsible for undertaking repair/renewal roofing works, including repairs and maintenance covering roof leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work & torch on felt repairs. Ability to undertake some brickwork related repairs is desirable
• Taking pride in building relationships, you will communicate effectively with the scheduling team, tenants and your line managers
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

What will you bring as a Roofer?

• Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Roofing
• Some general maintenance knowledge in other trades would be advantageous
• Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenants’ homes within social housing settings
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with the use of a company van.
