Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a skilled Roofer Multi to join our Response team covering the East Midlands. You will undertake roof repairs and renewals, working in a fast-paced, housing environment with tenants inScenarios. A strong focus on safety and reliability is essential.

We offer a competitive basic salary of £35,530 for a 39-hour week, with on-target earnings up to £39,586 including bonus, overtime and callouts, plus a company van, PPE and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing is required.
• PASMA and IPAF certifications are desirable.
• Full UK driving licence with use of company van is required.
• Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced, reactive environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake repair/renewal roofing works, including leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work and torch on felt repairs; brickwork repairs desirable.
• Assist team with general maintenance across Carpentry & Plumbing.
• Communicate effectively with scheduling team, tenants and line managers.
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

The Roofer role:

• You will be responsible for undertakingrepair/renewal roofing works, including repairs and maintenance covering roof leaks, felt & batten, gutter leaks, lead work & torch on felt repairs.Ability to undertake some brickwork related repairs is desirable
• You will also be required to assist the team with general maintenance repairs across a range of trades such asCarpentry & Plumbing
• Taking pride in building relationships, you will communicate effectively with the scheduling team, tenants and your line managers
• Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safetyrequirements.

What will you bring as a Roofer?

• Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Roofing
• Current PASMA and IPAF certification is desirable
• Ability to work to targets in a fast paced and reactive environment
• Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenants’ homes within social housing settings
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with the use of a company van.
