Job summary

Rocksteady Music School is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead bands across multiple schools in the Kent region. You will teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to primary-age children, joining a large nationwide team of musicians dedicated to making music education accessible.

Training is provided to prepare you for the timetable, with a focus on safety and engaging lessons. This full-time role offers a competitive salary with a clear progression path, 11+ weeks holiday, and

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required – full training, support and development provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Give children their first opportunity to learn an instrument – drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders, with central team support.
• Help children develop self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
• Represent Rocksteady, building relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
