Rocksteady Music School is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead band-based lessons across multiple schools in the Oxfordshire region. You will teach groups of primary-age children on drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals, and help them perform live at end-of-term concerts.

The role is full-time with training and development provided, and requires a UK/EU driving licence with own transport for travel between schools. 11+ weeks holiday and a competitive package are included.

Formación

• No teaching experience required – full training, support and development provided.
• Competent on at least two of: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport essential.

Responsabilidades

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to children for live band performances.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders with central support.
• Be a role model and help children perform live at end-of-term concerts.
• Support children’s self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through music.
• Represent Rocksteady and build strong relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
• Be prepared for active days and travel between schools with gear loaded/ unloaded.
