Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Limited in Lancashire is hiring a full-time Band Leader to teach rock and pop bands in primary schools across multiple sites. You’ll lead fun, engaging lessons on drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals, with full training provided and ongoing support.

You'll travel between schools, load equipment and be part of the UK's largest team of full-time musicians, enjoying a competitive salary (£28,000–£33,000) plus a generous bonus scheme and fuel contributions.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required; full training, support and development provided.
• Must have a UK/EU driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a fun rock and pop band format in multiple schools.
• Lead lessons on drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals with energy and safety.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders with central support.
• Inspire and support children to perform live at end-of-term concerts.
• Build relationships with schools, teachers and parents while representing Rocksteady.
