Rocksteady Music School in Wiltshire is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead band-style lessons in primary schools. The role is full-time and permanent, teaching across multiple sites with travel between venues.

You will teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals, with training provided if you lack formal teaching experience. A UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential to travel to partner schools.

Formación

• No teaching experience required; full training, support and development provided.
• Must have uk/eu driving licence and own transport; willing to travel between schools.
• Competent on at least two of drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.

Responsabilidades

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Give children their first opportunity to learn an instrument – drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders with central support.
• Be a rock and pop star role-model, empowering children in primary schools to perform live at end-of-term concerts.
• Help children develop self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
• Represent Rocksteady, building relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
