Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Limited in Cornwall is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead bands in primary schools across a regional area. You will teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals within an exciting rock and pop format, up to 10 schools per week.

No prior teaching experience required as full training and development are provided. You will travel between sites using your own car, enjoy 11+ weeks of paid holiday, a salary of £28,000–£33,000 with a £1,500 annual bonus potential,

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to travel between multiple schools weekly.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to pupils.
• Work independently within a remote team of band leaders and support central teams.
• Inspire children to perform live at end-of-term concerts.
• Support children's self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through music.
• Represent Rocksteady with schools, teachers and parents.
• Be prepared for active days and driving between schools with equipment.
