Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Limited in Berkshire is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead band lessons across multiple primary schools. You will teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals, and will work as part of a remote team of band leaders with support from central teams.

No teaching experience required as full training is provided. A UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential for transporting equipment between schools; there is a generous holiday allowance and a £1,500

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to children.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders with central support.
• Support live performances at end-of-term concerts.
• Promote children's self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
• Represent Rocksteady, building relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
• Load/unload equipment and drive between schools.
