Humanoid is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Tech Lead to own the mechanical design of our robotic end effectors and guide the team’s technical direction. You’ll drive mechanisms end-to-end—from concept to manufacturing drawings—while mentoring engineers and collaborating with electrical and firmware teams.

You will oversee requirements development, design reviews, and tests to validate performance and durability in a fast-paced robotics environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in mechanical design for robotics, hardware, or electromechanical products.
• Proven track record delivering complex electromechanical or robotic systems.
• Experience leading or mentoring mechanical engineers and driving technical direction.
• Experience leading requirements development and test/evaluation planning with customers or stakeholders.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Siemens NX) with GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsabilités

• Lead the mechanical design strategy and architecture for end-effector products.
• Lead design reviews and mentor mechanical engineers.
• Gather and translate customer requirements into design specifications.
• Own mechanical design end-to-end from concept to manufacturing drawings.
• Integrate cameras, sensors and PCBAs into assemblies with electrical/firmware teams.
• Balance weight, durability, ergonomics and manufacturability.
