Job summary

Humanoid is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design power and sensor electronics for end effectors on our humanoid robots. You will own PCBA design, power distribution boards, and integration with battery management and PoE within compact, thermally constrained platforms.

Collaborate with mechanical and firmware teams in a fast-paced environment, prototype rapidly, and contribute to DFM/ DFA as we move from prototype to production; experience with Altium and sensor interfaces is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field with 4+ years in power and sensor electronics.
• Experience with power electronics: regulators, battery management, PoE, and PDB design.
• Proficiency in Altium for schematic capture and PCBA layout.
• Understanding sensor interfaces: SPI, MIPI, I2C, CAN, EtherCAT, Ethernet.
• Rapid electronics prototyping and bench debugging with standard hardware tools.
• Able to work in a fast-paced hardware engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate power distribution boards and power architectures for embedded/robotic systems.
• Design sensor and interface electronics for cameras, encoders, MCUs.
• Own PCBA design and wiring harnesses, including cross-subsystem connectors.
• Select regulators, battery management systems, and PoE injectors within size/weight/thermal constraints.
• Prototype designs and breadboarding to validate concepts before full PCBA spins.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation with firmware team.
• Own electrical BOM and relevant datasheets, EMI/safety considerations.
• Support DFM/DFM as designs move toward production.
