Job summary

Humanoid is seeking a Robotics Production Team Lead (Mechatronics) to head a technicians team in fast-paced humanoid robot builds. You’ll own output quality, pace, and safety while guiding cross-functional collaboration.

You’ll resolve electrical and mechanical issues with SMEs and drive workshop standards and pride in workmanship. The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on assembly, and problem-solving in a high-velocity environment, with opportunities to influence product development and tech

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in electromechanical assembly or engineering product development.
• 3+ years in electromechanical assembly or hand-assembly of complex systems.
• Proven ability to work with mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a deep sense of build quality and safety.
• Ability to read CAD, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with common tools and fixtures, soldering, harness assembly.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians in robotics assembly, rework, and repair.
• Report on delivery, risks, and blockers to the department head.
• Own and drive team culture to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Lead by example and embed continuous improvement within the team.
• Allocate and track build work orders and unblock challenges.
• Identify delivery risks and address them with senior leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve build issues in real time.
