Humanoid in the United Kingdom is seeking a Robotics Production Team Lead (Mechatronics) to guide a dynamic team through rapid humanoid robot assembly, integration, and testing. You will ensure quality, safety, and pace while solving complex electromechanical challenges in collaboration with engineers and specialists.

The role offers the chance to influence product direction within a fast-growing startup, with opportunities for travel to global offices and close collaboration with top engineers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly or hand-assembly of complex systems.
• Experience leading teams in electromechanical assembly or engineering product development.
• Ability to read CAD drawings, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Strong attention to build quality and safety.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment with evolving designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians in robotics assembly, rework, and repair.
• Report on delivery, risks, and blockers to the department head.
• Own and drive team culture to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical build issues with subject matter experts.
• Coordinate with engineering to implement fixes.
• Ensure workshop standards and pride in workmanship.
