Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver rapid roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency support across the UK. Start and finish at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, and full gear supplied, working averages of 40 hours weekly with optional overtime.

The role offers a market-competitive base salary of £41,600 and an attractive OTE, with potential to earn more through bonuses and overtime rates, and encompasses serving members in your local area.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• OR 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• You’ll start and finish your day at home and tackle challenges head-on
• Equip and empower members with quick, confident solutions and reassurance
