Job summary

RAC Recruitment is seeking a Roadside Technician in the UK to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support. You will start and finish your day at home, with an RAC van and diagnostic kit provided.

Must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, plus a full UK driving licence (≤6 points). Base pay £36,400 with realistic OTE £60,000 and overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day from home with RAC van and equipment provided.
