Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician based in Northam to perform on-site repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish from home, using provided RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit.

The role offers a market-competitive base salary with realistic OTE and overtime opportunities. Applicants should have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with two years’ experience, or five years in a related role, plus a

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2 years' experience or 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK
• Provide emergency breakdown support with quick, confident solutions
• Start and end each day at home with RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit
