Job summary

RAC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside and provide emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start from and return to home, with shifts averaging around 40 hours per week and optional overtime.

The role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Qualifications

• Requires NVQ Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Fault finding, tyre changes and battery work as required.
