Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside fixes, and help members continue their journey with confidence.

The role offers a strong base pay (£36,400) and a realistic OTE (£61,000), with development through IMI accreditation and a supportive, safety-conscious team environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years as Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults independently and get members back on the road.
• Use the latest diagnostic technology while delivering great customer service.
