Roadside Vehicle Technician

Salary: £48,720.98 Basic + Bonus (£50k–£65k OTE)
Location: Colchester
Rota -Based Shifts Between 06:00 – 02:00

The Roadside Vehicle Technician Role

As a Roadside Vehicle Technician, you’ll respond to vehicle breakdowns and faults, diagnosing and fixing issues roadside with confidence and care. What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in diagnostics, electrics, and mechanical repairs
• Confident working independently and dealing directly with customers
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexibility for shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

Roadside Vehicle Technician Hours

You’ll work a flexible pattern equivalent to 40 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled between 6:00 AM and 2:00 AM, with your weekly roster shared 7 days in advance and your daily start time confirmed 3 days in advance.
