Job summary
RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division. You’ll perform roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing from your own driveway and working local area clusters.
You’ll bring a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, plus a full UK driving licence. Competitive base pay (£36,400) with a realistic OTE (£60k–£61k) and generous overtime options await.

Responsibilities
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs at the roadside
- Tackle a range of fault scenarios from flat batteries to complex issues
- Start and finish each day at home while service calls are local to your area
