RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work from home to start and finish, operating in a defined local area while keeping members moving.

You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit. The role offers a strong base salary with realistic OTE and benefits as part of a long-standing, trusted UK brand.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home while servicing members in your local area.
