Job summary

You will join RAC as a Roadside Technician, covering local UK areas from your home base. You’ll perform diagnostic checks and roadside repairs, handling emergency breakdowns while delivering exceptional member service.

You’ll start and finish each day at home, using provided RAC tools and van to reach members quickly and safely. RAC offers a market competitive base salary (£42,921.87) including night allowance, with realistic OTE (£43k–£53k), plus benefits such as share schemes, breakdown cover,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
