Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and assist members across the UK, starting and finishing each day from home and working in your local area.

You will receive a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, full uniform and diagnostic tools, plus a strong base salary and attractive overtime/bonus potential as you help drivers get back on the road.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Tackle calls locally to get members back on the road in your area.
