Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll perform expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and breakdown support across the UK, leveraging your qualifications and experience to get members back on the road quickly.

You’ll start and finish each day at home, tackling diverse roadside challenges and delivering outstanding member service with your RAC van, tools and diagnostic kit supplied.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home, with a RAC van and equipment provided.
