Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish on your driveway, working a 40-hour week with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Qualified with Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, plus a full UK driving licence, you’ll join a programme that develops technical excellence with dedicated support and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside diagnostics and repairs as a Roadside Technician.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns across the UK and provide quick, confident solutions.
• Operate with RAC van, diagnostic kit, and fuel card provided from day one.
