Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the Warrington cluster to diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside, getting members back on the road quickly. Start and finish each day from home, with a dedicated RAC van, fuel card and diagnostic kit provided.

Candidates should have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years in a vehicle trade, plus a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Manage fault diagnostics and repairs to get members back on the road quickly.
• Start and finish your day at home, with a RAC van and essential tools provided.
