Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver on-the-spot repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start and finish your day at home, with a locally focused area coverage and a view to get members back on the road quickly.

The role requires Level 2 LV maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a full UK driving licence with under 6 points. RAC provides a van, tools, and uniform.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home and focus your day on helping members get back on the road.
