Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician for Warrington cluster coverage, including Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Newton-le-Willows, Leigh, Golborne and Ashton-in-Makerfield. You’ll start and finish from home, with 40-hour weeks and demand-led shifts.

You’ll perform diagnostics and roadside repairs to get members back on the road quickly. Provide expert repairs, support across the UK, and exceptional member service, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform and tools supplied.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside.
