Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician in the Warrington cluster, covering areas like Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, and surrounding towns. You’ll start and finish at home, working on demand-led shifts around 40 hours per week, with overtime options.

You’ll be equipped from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, tools and diagnostic kit. The role focuses on getting members back on the road with expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided.
• Get members back on the road quickly with confident, high-quality service.
