Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Warrington cluster, covering Widnes and surrounding towns. Start and finish from home with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime.

With an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll deliver diagnostics and roadside repairs across the UK, using your own driving licence with under 6 points. You’ll receive a competitive base salary and a strong OTE, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Get members back on the road with quick, confident solutions.
