Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division, covering Warrington and nearby areas. You’ll perform diagnostics, roadside repairs, and breakdown assistance, starting and ending each day from home while delivering excellent member service.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll have a full UK driving licence and contribute to a fast-paced, supportive team in a trusted, long-standing company.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Valid UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day from home, visiting local areas to help members.
• Use your tools and diagnostic kit to get the job done quickly.
