Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to keep the UK moving. With an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll diagnose, repair, and support members at the roadside across the UK, starting and finishing each day at home and operating in your local area with an RAC van and diagnostic kit provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end each day at home, with local day calls.
• Use RAC-provided van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit to get the job done.
