RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end your day at home, tackling diverse calls—from flat batteries to tyre changes—using provided tools, diagnostic kit and a RAC van.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent; 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with ≤6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling calls and providing quick, confident solutions.
• Carry tools and diagnostic kit; work with RAC van and fuel card to service members.
