Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and help members continue their journeys safely, often working independently with the latest diagnostic technology.

The role offers structured development, IMI accreditation opportunities and a strong base pay with realistic OTE.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and reassure members.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue journeys safely.
