RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, provide quick solutions, and help members continue their journeys safely.

The role offers a structured development pathway, accreditation via IMI, and opportunities to grow your diagnostic capability while enjoying shift patterns averaging 40 hours per week with overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside repair, diagnostics and breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely.
