Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs across the UK. You will handle emergencies, delivering fast, confident service to members with a professional approach.

You start and finish your day at home, with shift patterns averaging about 40 hours weekly and optional overtime. RAC provides a van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit to set you up for success.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on repair experience on vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions at the roadside.
• Maintain excellent member service and professionalism on every call.
